Pastor Michael Moore

Pastor Michael Moore was born in Birmingham, Alabama and reared in Lake Charles, Louisiana most of his life. After graduating High School in 1976, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Upon his completion of duty in the Corps, he returned to Lake Charles, Louisiana.

In 1981, Moore heard the call of God and searched diligently for truth. He encountered Apostle Wendell Archie of Refuge Temple, preaching the uncompromising word of truth. After witnessing Apostle Archie’s bold stance on God’s word in the face of adversity and persecution, Moore was filled with the Holy Ghost on March 21, 1981, and became a member of Refuge Temple.

Moore began laboring in ministry. He later became a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and was ordained a licensed minister; afterwards, he was made Youth Pastor.

Pastor Moore served God faithfully for 26 years as a single man before being blessed with a holy wife, Judy Landor – Moore.

After being tried and proven, Bishop Archie has sent Pastor Moore to pastor the Refuge Temple, Baton Rouge church, along with Pastor LJ Miller.
